I can only second the call for the first book. Being a huge mecha fan I’m always looking for new work. And Dead Mech looked quire interesting.

I do have the original podiobook of Dead Mech (Apex 01). Jake initially produced & performed it himself and then distributed it via Podiobooks.com before the series even went to print. I didn’t post it because the quality is not all that great. If you want it anyways, I’ll put it up. Let me know.
FYI, books 01 & 02 are sidequels; they happen concurrently. You’re not missing anything regardless of which one you read/listen to first. Book 03 has not been produced yet.
