Considering he faced somewhat more crucial circumstances than someone pondering what to buy from the grocery, I think he was a ok chap.
Then again, the only truly universal movement is the hunger for power and property. Different kinds of politics and religions are just ways to achieve those. Ask anybody.

All Ho Chi Minh wanted was the french to leave and for he ppl to unite as one. He wasnt a power hungry dictator. Before the war he often quoted the founding fathers of the USA in his speeches. He very much wanted to be an ally of the USA but the french wouldnt leave and we threw our support with the french. So when the communists offered to help he really had no choice. LOL you think Ho Chi Minh was looking to get rich and thats why he wanted war ? Thats crazy.
