@Hugomundo I dunno, it sounds very similar, but unless the girl he is protecting is his (not quite) sister, there’s a couple of details missing that would make it start to diverge

Holly shit i am one hour into it and it’s beat for beat The Irregular at Magic High School with a sprinkle of The Silent Witch, and I can understand the author being inspired by it I just hope it becomes different enough for it to not be blatant plagiarism. I will see how it goes
Still it’s a bit annoying where the author has copied over a lot of the abilities, names and personalities of the characters from said works

Hope the three books will be fun. Just worried as the author stopped this title after many negative reviews. People claiming after reading chapter one that this is a complete ripoff.
Still lets gonna give this first time writer a change. I mean even the late Sir Terry Pratchett started with “the colour of magic”
