conspiracies and Conspiracy Theories are two very different things @fall19 , but I do I agree with your main point, people believe the absurd when the real is far more intriguing and sinister and that’s because those in charge or in the know of these ‘truths’ Lie…Alot; Instead of being forthcoming and truthful, and reconquering our confidence in them (these custodians of hidden truths) they behave as if we cant handle the truth, when we can far better than they do. When one omits, the brain has the most fascinating abilities to fill in those blanks with the most far reaching, imaginative substitutes.

@fall19, the real question is, why do we tolerate countless useful idiots who refuse to acknowledge nefarious activities the state themselves admit to? The time will approach rapidly where above mentioned useful village idiots will have to bear the consequences for their chosen ignorance, choosing to act as a wall of sheep for all the genocides, illegal wars and deliberate poisoning of the ecosystem.
