So many gems in this work , ones that having NOTHING doing with the title & Subject at that, is worth the time dedicated to undertake this mammoth. SMh,Too bad no one under 40 will even give it glance.

There was a great BBC documentary about how Churchill claims writing this book helped prepare him to lead the UK during WWII.

edbroadway- if it makes u feel better I’m 27 and have a HUGE love for anything relating to war & battle pre 1900. Obviously a huge part of war/killing etc is the humans involved and all that comes with it. Empathy I guess is what all history lovers have realizing it or not. It’s typical but I’m entertained by, admire, am terrified of many people throught history involved in war-conflicts.. the human race really is the most beautiful and unruly disgusting things to ever exist…… but yea ima read this book lmao
